Just War Lecture In Enola, Pa. – TONIGHT

If you don’t have plans tonight, then I’d like to invite you to attend a just war lecture sponsored by St. Michael’s Anglican Church in Enola, Pa.

You don’t have to be a Christian, or an Anglican, or a member of St. Michael’s to care about the topic of Just War. Some famous secularists, including the great orator Cicero of Rome, cared about the topic too. I think it’s an important topic for our day as well.

You may think Just War theories have nothing to do with Internet marketing, but that would be an error. We live in a country that espouses a belief in the values of personal and individual freedom – in business as well as your personal life. Unjust war impinges on that right.

The lecture will be presented by local historian Dr. Aaron Larsen. Dr. Larsen is an author and holds a Doctorate degree from St. John’s University in Jamaica, New York.

If you don’t have plans tonight, drop by St. Michael’s Anglican Church in Enola, Pa. around 7 p.m. and hear Dr. Larsen speak on the topic of just war – what it is, why it’s necessary to think about it, and how churches and governments have got it wrong – and right – throughout history.

For more information on the lecture, visit the St. Michael’s Anglican Church website.
