Yesterday, Facebook rolled out its new social media platform – the Timeline – to the public. And today I saw my first one. Not a bad look, actually.
When they announced the Timeline in September I thought it was a rather hokey idea. But after looking over Matthew Revert’s Timeline, I kind of like it. Of course, that doesn’t mean there aren’t still privacy concerns. But I like the look.
I’m torn between the thought of activating my Timeline or waiting awhile. I’m not sure. But if you’re a regular Facebook user, then you might be interested to know that you can go ahead and activate your Timeline. Just go to Introducing Timeline and click the green button at the bottom of the screen. Then you’ll have 7 days to review your Timeline and remove anything you don’t want to be public.
