Goodbye Dover, Hello Adams County

As mentioned Thursday, my wife and I spent the weekend in Dover. We really enjoyed Old Tyme Days, but it wasn’t all play and no work. With my trusty mobile wi-fi, I was able to do my blogging each day from my campsite.

If you’re familiar with Dover, Pa., you know that Old Tyme Days takes place in a big field on the outskirts of Dover. I have to say that this particular weekend was the best Old Tyme Days ever, and we’ve been doing it for five years.

What I used to do was go to the Dover library in the evening and first thing in the morning and tap into their hotspot. Of course, Sunday was a pain because the library isn’t open on Sunday. As a contingency, I had one of my overflow writers take care of my posts for me if I couldn’t get to them by a certain time. And I’d have to pay that writer the posts he wrote, plus he’d have to edit the posts of other writers and I’d have to pay him for those.

The mobile wi-fi changes all of that. It actually saves me money, which makes me money. I don’t have to pay someone to write and edit posts for me and I don’t have to pay for the gas to get to the Dover library. The investment in the wi-fi router itself and the monthly service is well worth the savings. Long term, it will likely be one of the best business decisions I’ve made in a long time.

If you need someone to write your blogs, you can count on me to make sure it happens every day on time. My business is mobile and I make sure the work is done no matter what.
